An extraordinary art exhibit is coming to the J! Created by artist and Torah scribe Shoshana Gugenheim, “Women of the Book” is a collection of 54 original artworks on parchment—one for each of the 54 weekly Torah portions (parshiot)—each created by a female artist. September 22-30.
The J will observe the following closures for the High Holidays: Sunday, October 2, SJCC closes at 3 p.m.; Monday, October 3 & Tuesday, October 4, Closed for Rosh Hashanah; Tuesday, October 11, SJCC closes at 3 p.m.; Wednesday, October 12, Closed for Yom Kippur.
