Center Stage

CENTER STAGE IS BACK
We have brought theatre back to the J. Center Stage musical productions are open to parents and even grandparents, but shows are designed so young people get almost all the big parts. Parents have special roles so they can help mentor younger actors. What is unique about this program is that it is a hybrid of youth theater and community theater with the focus on youth and enhancement of the shows with adults both as participants and mentors.

Academy Program
Pre-K to first graders have a special program designed especially for them, the Center Stage After-School Academy. It meets twice a week and participants learn skills and help to write an original play.

Advanced Academy
This program gives older kids (ages 5-12) the chance to be in a play where they are the only ones in the show. It is an ensemble production and everyone gets a good part.

Center Stage Conservatory
This program gives tweens and teens the opportunity to perform in more intensely themed and developed theater projects.
