Imagine one place where an entire community can come together.
A place where infants and toddlers play, learn and grow. Where children come to swim, have fun, and learn about nature outdoors at summer camp. And where youth and teens socialize and exercise after school.
Imagine a place where businesswomen and men stay in shape during their lunch hour and where they can spend time with their families at night or on weekends. A place where adults and seniors find meaningful educational, cultural and social activities.
The Stroum Jewish Community Center is this special place. Just walk through the doors and I know you'll agree – you feel it. Energy permeates the entire building, morning, noon and night. The entire community feels welcome here. During the past year, thousands of community members of all ages, faiths and needs have enriched their lives at the J.
We're often asked how we do it. It takes a great deal of passion and hard work by our dedicated staff, board and volunteers. It also takes resources. Some of those resources come from membership and activity fees. But a large portion must come from community contributions made by people who care.
People like you.
Giving is a truly generous personal action. Our SJCC members and community have been enriched because of people like you who share our commitment to providing programs and services to the entire spectrum of Jewish and general communities.
