J Explorers

 

Share the spirit of the Stroum Jewish Community Center with your child! Together participants build, play games, learn new skills, and enjoy the great outdoors with other dads and kids.

SJCC provides the game plan and dads and kids provide the creative play. The staff liaison provides a number of functions to support the J Explorers groups, including providing suggestions and program ideas, guidance and assistance at meetings, keeping participants informed with regard to upcoming SJCC or J Explorer events and more.

The program is designed for children entering kindergarten to third grade. This program is designed to further develop the father/son/daughter relationship and instill Judaic values and the community of the SJCC. 

We currently have age-based groups from kindergarten through grade 3. If you are interested in leading an older group, please contact SJCC Enrichment Coordinator Katie London at KatieL@sjcc.org or 206-388-0828.

The cost is $72 annually for SJCC members or $150 annually for guests.

J Explorers Spring Campout
Saturday, June 1, to Sunday, June 2
It's that time of year again! J Explorers dads and kids will head out to URJ Camp Kalsman for our third annual Spring Campout. We'll play gaga, go on nature walks, and roast marshmallows over a campfire. Bring your sleeping bag and let's go camping!
