Black Box

Black Box is entirely (including this mission statement) created and executed for and by youth of all ages on Mercer Island.

We create an environment where everyone involved participates because it is fun. The resources to create and understand a new culture just for and by youth are indispensable. Black Box is a place where kids can be kids. Most importantly next to fun, it is a safe environment to learn all about music, production, sound, lights, marketing, networking, creating, and more.

The entire focus is about learning and creating, enjoying the side of kids that is not necessarily provided by school or home or anywhere else. The creation of a new culture is crucial to enjoy the benefits of freedom in learning and making something happen. Grab a friend, turn off the TV and join.
