SJCC Summer Camp has been a defining time for thousands of campers for the last five decades. Campers have learned Jewish songs, played gaga, acted on the stage, created science experiments, and made lifelong friendships. Whether this will be your first summer or you're a seasoned veteran, we are excited for you to build friendships, create memories, connect with the outdoors, and, most importantly, discover yourself. SJCC Summer Camps are open to everyone. We encourage all campers to appreciate diversity and celebrate differences. The values we teach, while Jewish in nature, are universal. We were proud to offer eight major camps in 2013, serving campers at two locations: our main Mercer Island campus and at the Seattle Jewish Community School in north Seattle. No matter which campus you choose, we promise a summer you'll never forget. We carefully screen staff members for their ability to be good leaders and role models. They are talented and caring individuals committed to working with young children and adolescents. Many of our campers’ favorite staff members wiill return again this summer. Safety and security come first in all our camp programs. Full-time SJCC professionals supervise our camps and provide ongoing security training for counselors throughout the summer. So, go buy extra sunscreen, grab your swim goggles, and get ready for the summer. It's closer than you think! |
